Description We are looking for a dedicated Benefits Customer Service Associate to support employees during Open Enrollment period. This contract position offers an opportunity to assist with health benefits inquiries and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Assist callers with inquiries related to health benefits during the Open Enrollment period. • Provide accurate information about benefits eligibility, plan options, and enrollment processes. • Handle high volumes of calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency. • Maintain organized records and ensure proper documentation of benefit-related transactions. • Resolve customer concerns with tact and diplomacy, ensuring a positive experience. • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and support overall enrollment efforts. • Participate in paid training sessions to gain knowledge of Baltimore’s benefits system and processes. • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data security. • Notify management promptly regarding any issues or potential extensions of the assignment. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent certification required. • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or office support, preferably supporting health insurance, open enrollment , or benefits administration. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computerized data entry systems. • Familiarity with healthcare terminology, medical insurance, and Medicare eligibility is a plus. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle challenging customer interactions. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
