Job Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Benefits Coordinator (Contract) to support the administration of employee benefit programs. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 1–2 years of benefits or HR experience who is looking to expand their expertise in benefits administration within a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.
The Benefits Coordinator will assist with day-to-day benefits operations, employee inquiries, vendor coordination, and compliance support while ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the administration of employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), FSA/HSA, and wellness programs
· Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions and resolve issues with vendors and carriers
· Support new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment processes
· Assist with open enrollment preparation, communications, and system updates
· Maintain accurate employee benefits records in HRIS systems
· Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate deductions and benefit contributions
· Assist with benefits audits, reporting, and compliance documentation (ACA, ERISA, COBRA)
· Process life event changes, eligibility updates, and terminations
· Support benefits communications and employee education materials
· Partner with internal HR team and external vendors to ensure smooth benefits operations
Compensation:
$25/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
1–2 years of experience in benefits administration or human resources
· Familiarity with vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators
· Experience assisting with open enrollment cycles
· Basic knowledge of employee benefits and related regulations (Fidelity, COBRA)
· Basic knowledge of Excel
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
· Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Degree Preferred
· Pursuing Degree in Human Resources or Bachelor’s Degree Expert Excel skills
