We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Benefits Analyst to join our team at a leading insurance company in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, administration, and analysis of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing data-driven insights to improve benefit offerings and employee satisfaction.

Skills and Requirements
  
Bachelor’s Degree
  
Solid understanding of benefit plans and related terminology (medical, dental, legal)
  
Strong oral and written communication skills for presenting to internal and external stakeholders
  
Ability to translate technical and corporate information for diverse audiences
  
Skilled in analyzing complex issues and recommending effective solutions
  
Proficient in Microsoft Office; adaptable to new software and systems
  
Proven ability to work independently and meet project goals
  
Experience exercising sound judgment and decision-making
  
Capable of managing multiple projects with competing priorities
  
Comfortable interacting with all levels of staff and management
  
Knowledge of desktop publishing tools (preferred)
  
Familiarity with query tools and ability to create queries (preferred)
  
Experience in healthcare insurance claims processing (preferred)
