Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Benefits Administrator Specialist to oversee the administration and management of employee benefit programs in compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires exceptional analytical capabilities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide outstanding support to employees and stakeholders. Based in Irving, Texas, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic aerospace organization.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain employee benefit plans, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing employee inquiries and resolving benefit-related issues.
• Manage the operations of 401(k) and other retirement plans, including eligibility, contributions, loans, and distributions.
• Collaborate with vendors and record-keepers to reconcile contributions and prepare documentation for financial transactions.
• Conduct audits of benefit records to ensure accuracy in employee deductions, plan eligibility, and vendor data interfaces.
• Facilitate the annual enrollment process and communicate updates or changes to benefit programs.
• Compile and organize data for external audits, Form 5500 reporting, and compliance testing.
• Monitor and report metrics related to employee interactions and HR processes.
• Support the coordination and compliance efforts for retirement plan requirements.
• Implement necessary adjustments to benefit plans to align with regulatory changes and company policies. Requirements
Must Have the below 3
• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables VLOOKUP's and advanced formulas.
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for benefit programs.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in auditing and reporting.
• Effective organizational and communication abilities to manage employee inquiries and program coordination.
• Familiarity with vendor data interfaces and HR platforms.
• Experience in handling retirement plans, COBRA administration, and leave of absence processes.
