The Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing employee health, welfare, and retirement programs using the Paycom Human Capital Management (HCM) software. This role involves processing enrollments, life-cycle changes, and COBRA, while serving as the primary contact for vendors. The administrator ensures compliance with federal and state regulations such as HIPAA, FMLA, and ACA, and frequently assists with payroll processing and troubleshooting.
ResponsibilitiesConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot benefits modules in Paycom.Manage open enrollment, new hire orientations, and benefits deductions.Ensure accuracy in compliance with ACA, FMLA, COBRA, and HIPAA.Act as the liaison between employees and insurance carriers for inquiries and claim resolution.Reconcile vendor invoices and manage employee benefit records in the HRIS.Assist with automation of the company's systems through Paycom after contract completion.Essential SkillsStrong experience with HRIS platforms, particularly Paycom.Deep understanding of benefits regulations and HR practices.Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.Proficiency in Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related business field is commonly required.Work EnvironmentThis position is onsite in South San Francisco (SSF).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
