The Hilton Motif Seattle is looking for a Bellperson to join the team!

Located on 5th Avenue in the heart of Downtown Seattle, this stylish hotel is nestled between Pike Place Market and Union Street and is surrounded by the city's finest restaurants, shopping, entertainment venues, museums, and attractions.  This sleek urban style hotel features amenities including a vibrant award-winning restaurant offering an extensive outdoor patio with sweeping city views, over 28,000 square feet of meeting space, and 319 newly redesigned rooms.

The ideal candidate will:

Provide courteous, professional assistance with luggage, transportation needs, and general guest inquiries, while ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience.Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entryway, and bell stand area.Safely store guest luggage in the designated storage area when needed.Support the Front Desk with guest requests and special arrangements.Handle guest concerns with professionalism and promptly report issues to management.

 

Shift Pattern: Full - Time 

Hourly Rate: $21.02 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Bellperson, you would be responsible for transferring and storing luggage and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodationsRetrieve and transport guest luggageInspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with these rooms and their featuresRespond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerOrganize and store luggage, as needed, according to guidelinesEnsure that management/leadership team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departmentsEnsure messages and faxes are regularly delivered throughout the dayAssist with room moves, special luggage deliveries and/or pulls, and attend the main lobby and front door, as neededAssist in the maintenance, appearance and functionality of equipment
