Job descriptionWe are seeking a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented bellman to join our team at Mu00f6venpick Hotel Doha. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a positive first and last impression for our guests. You will be responsible for assisting with luggage handling, providing accurate information about the hotel and local attractions, and ensuring that every guest receives the warm, attentive service Mu00f6venpick is known for.
Key responsibilities: Stand ready at the main entrance to warmly greet arriving guests. Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure, escorting them to or from their rooms. Maintain detailed knowledge of room locations and hotel facilities to guide guests effectively. Provide directions and local information about Doha attractions, transportation, and services. Issue and verify luggage tags to ensure proper handling and security. Ensure cleanliness and good condition of all luggage trolleys. Maintain a high level of personal grooming and wear a complete, clean uniform at all times. Stay attentive to activity in the lobby area and respond promptly to guest needs. Assist with valet parking, package deliveries, or errands as requested. Complete shift checklists and communicate key handover information clearly. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience as a bellman or in the hospitality industry is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Physically fit and able to carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods. Basic English language skills required; Arabic or additional languages are a plus. Professional appearance with strong attention to hygiene and uniform standards. Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
