The Bell Attendant is responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience. You’ll be the first and last impression for our guests, providing helpful information, personalized service, and a warm, professional demeanor throughout their stay.
General ResponsibilityCommunicate in a friendly, tactful and professional manner with guest, suppliers as well as colleagues
Be informed and keep your supervisor informed of all matters that may affect your work, the hotel’s service or reputation
Always present a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards
Be flexible and open to change in your job responsibilities, work area and/or roster to meet business needs
Be understanding, supportive, encouraging and helpful to guests as well as suppliers and your colleagues
Care about your work environment and make sure it is tidy and well maintained
Be reliable and ensure you are at work on time
Know your role in case of emergency such as bomb threat, flood, fire etc
Understand the Employee Handbook and comply with the standards it outlines
Carry out all professionally reasonable instructions given by your superior.
Ensure storeroom clean and organized

To provide guest with up to date hotel information and eventsTo be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel, cordially greet all arriving and departing guests and open the hotel doors for them as well as help them out off/into their car.Understand all hotel promotion activities, eq special package, Alila Link etcTo provide security and privacy of guests by keeping all guest’s information confidential unless otherwise instructed by guests.
To assist guests with check in and check out and to carry their luggage to or from their rooms.To maintain good traffic flows and keep the driveway free of traffic and accessible for the incoming vehiclesTo escort guests to their rooms and explain all services provided by the hotel such as restaurants, fitness center, etc. and assist them with room changes.16. Maintain an active presence in the lobby
To make sure the storeroom for the luggage is well kept at all times.18. unload luggage from vehicles and carry luggage from bell desk to the front door when needed. To maintain high standard of personal and work area appearance and hygiene at all times, and keep a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues of all departments
19. Greet and assist the guest with maximum courtesy and attention during their stay.
20. To ensure maximum guests satisfaction through personnel recognition and prompt cordial attention throughout their stays.
21. To contribute to overall operational efficiency by performing other relevant duties assigned.
22. Ensure welcome drink, Omani coffee prepare on daily base on arrival
23. Ensure cold towel prepared for guest arrival and departure
24. Provide information about local recreational destinations.
