You’ll provide direct care, monitor health and safety, facilitate therapeutic activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team. Key Responsibilities

Residential Facility & Withdrawal Management

Admit, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients.

Monitor vital signs and withdrawal symptoms; escalate to medical staff when needed.

Administer and document medications per policy and training certifications.

Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and disposal.

Conduct supervision checks and support safety protocols.

Residential Care Facility (RCF)

Assist clients with personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing).

Perform health monitoring and escalate concerns appropriately.

Support medication administration and documentation.

Facilitate supervision checks and maintain safety standards.

All Locations

Promote adherence to program expectations using trauma-informed approaches.

Collaborate with treatment teams to support client goals and interventions.

Document behaviors, progress, and concerns in client records.

Assist with admissions, orientations, and specimen collection.

Respond to crisis calls and communicate with supervisors as needed.

Facilitate group activities, education sessions, and recreational programming.

Provide transportation for clients as needed.

Maintain a clean, safe environment and report maintenance issues.

Attend meetings, complete required trainings, and uphold organizational values.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Thorough understanding of confidentiality laws related to substance use and mental health disorder treatment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and documentation.

Proficient in interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

Solid mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Capable of writing routine reports and professional correspondence.

Effective interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, staff, family members, and community partners.

Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions using sound judgment and common sense.

Basic keyboarding proficiency and ability to navigate and document within an electronic medical record system.

Skilled in problem-solving within standardized procedures involving multiple variables.

Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.

Experience and Education Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment experience.

Prior experience in Human Services or a related field is preferred.

OR

Exceptions to the above qualifications may be approved by the appropriate Executive Team member.

Additional Requirements for Residential Care Facility (RCF)

Must obtain Level 1 Medication Aide (LIMA) credential and Insulin Certification within the first ninety (90) days of employment.
