POSITION SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, the Behavioral Health EHR Specialist provides on-site and remote technical support, works with clinical leadership to routinely evaluate the effectiveness of the system and workflows, and acts as a liaison within IT to help bridge the gap between the clinical and technical teams.

$82,160
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma plus a minimum of 3 years clinical EHR software experience from a workflow and procedural standpoint. Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred. MSW (Masters of Social Work) is preferred. Knowledge of behavioral health workflows and quality measures is preferred. Experience assisting other staff members is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Prior experience in an FQHC or clinic setting is desirable. Eager to learn from, interact with and communicate with providers is required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates and provides continuing education on agency electronic health record (EHR) to new and existing employees.
Conducts site visits and provides users with support during EHR use.
Monitors the effectiveness of support by reviewing documentation to workflow.
Provides additional end user support for agency EHR application as needed.
Provides solutions and designs process changes resulting in improved and more efficient workflow and operations.
Provides system administration support and maintenance functions as necessary.
Coordinates new application functionality with the Systems team. Works with the team to develop supporting materials as needed
Works with EHR vendor on new functionality, updates documentation as necessary.
Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
