Job Summary
Summary<br>Counsel and advise individuals with alcohol, tobacco, drug, or other problems, such as gambling and eating disorders. May counsel individuals, families, or groups or engage in prevention programs. Provide support, training and education to mental/behavioral health care and case management staff as needed.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>Yes<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Develop and execute group counseling sessions. <br>-Assisting Therapists in the discharge process. <br>
-Participate in staff meetings. <br>
-Train new staff as needed. <br>
-Individual counseling utilizing evidence-based treatments. <br>
-Understanding and maintaining the confidential nature of all client and program related activities. <br>
-Collaborate with IEP team members including consultation IEP services. <br>
-Evaluates children and adolescents to risk for harm to self or others and triggers to such. <br>
