Join us today, and experience a career well lived. **SUMMARY** Develops behavioral plans, provides behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic services for people served and their families. Develop clinical hypothesis in order to design and develop treatment methodology that will be incorporated in the treatment plan. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** _To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below._ + _Works with supervisors in the development, implementation, maintenance, and generalization of behavioral change._ + _Maintains the use of least restrictive treatment guidelines in the implementation of behavioral interventions and techniques._ + _Coaches’ people served, family members, and other team members in effecting management, communication and social skills._ + _Provides behavioral intervention in the home, or community, or job site on an individual or group basis._ + _Completes admission and discharge planning and documentation as needed._ + _Completes required assessments and treatment plans in timeframes required by the payer, for example Functional Behavioral Assessment._ + _Provides oversight of implementation of the treatment plan._ + _Collects data indicating objectives, strategies, and results obtained._ + _Consults with other community bases resources such as state agencies, schools, medical and other mental health professionals as necessary._ + _Participates in family education and training as needed._ + _Participates in treatment planning and clinical consultations with the trans-disciplinary team, ensuring coordinated care efforts._ + _Ensures evaluation, progress, and discharge reports on each person served are provided in a timely manner._ + _Submits documentation for the person served in a timely manner, compliant with program expectations._ + _Ensures adherence to accreditation standards and ethics of confidentiality._ + _Assists in coordination of behavioral programming within living, community, and vocational settings as necessary._ + _Provides training and support to team in behavioral techniques._ + _Supports peopled served, families, and other stakeholders in crisis situation as needed._ + Performs other related duties and activities as required. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** + None required **Minimum Knowledge and Skills required for the Job** _The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job._ **_Education and Experience:_** + Master’s Degree in psychology or related field + 1 year experience preferred **_Pennsylvania Only: Behavioral Consultant_** + _Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, education or counseling and one year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children_ + _Or Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, education or completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum_ + _License as a Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania or certification as a BCBA or other graduate level certification in behavior analysis can replace required experience_ **_Pennsylvania Behavioral Consultant-ABA_** + _To provide ABA services, a professional license as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, behavior specialist, or certified registered nurse and one of the following_ + _A minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA_ + _A minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis_ **_Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:_** + Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record. **_Other Skills and Abilities:_** + Knowledge Of Applied Behavior Analysis or Positive Behavior Support principles required + Familiarity with conducting Functional Behavior Assessments preferred + Creating interventions/strategies to address maladaptive behaviors as noted in the Functional Behavior Assessment desirable + Evaluation of progress from an qualitative and quantitative standpoint **_Other Requirements:_** + Travel as needed **_Physical Requirements:_** + **Light work.** Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
