Position Summary Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Classroom Aide to provide behavioral support services in a school setting. This role is essential in helping students succeed academically and socially by reinforcing positive behaviors, assisting teachers, and creating a safe, supportive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities + Support students with behavioral needs in classroom and school activities. + Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of teachers and specialists. + Assist with classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment. + Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed. + Document observations and progress to share with the educational team. + Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to promote student success. + Ensure compliance with school policies and safety standards. Minimum Requirements + High School diploma or equivalent. + Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred. + Current CPR certification. + Current TB skin test or chest X-ray. Preferred Skills + Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral settings. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Patience, empathy, and ability to remain calm in challenging situations. + Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to student success.
