Job Opportunity: Behavioral Classroom Aide Location: Northern , VA Position ID: Behavioral Classroom Aide (1018042) Work Hours :35 hours/week Contract : 39 weeks About the Role Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and experienced Behavioral Classroom Aides to provide behavioral support services in school settings. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with K–12 students, especially those on the autism spectrum or with intellectual and behavioral disabilities. You’ll be part of a dynamic team at Alternative Paths Training School (APTS), supporting students in both the Alexandria and Stafford campuses . As a Behavioral Classroom Aide, you’ll help deescalate challenging situations, provide behavioral prompts, and adapt to the unique needs of each student daily.
