Behavior Technician - ST

Schedule: On-Call | ~12 Hours/Week
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide on-call support across several school sites. The BT will assist students with special needs by delivering educational and behavioral support services under the guidance of school staff and behavioral specialists. This role includes assisting with daily routines, implementing behavior strategies, and promoting student independence and success.
Shift times vary depending on school needs.
Essential Responsibilities
+ Support students with special needs in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals.
+ Collaborate with teachers and behavioral specialists to implement behavior intervention strategies.
+ Assist with data collection, reinforcement procedures, and daily classroom support.
+ Provide personal care assistance when needed, including toileting.
+ Adapt to different classrooms and sites as part of the on-call schedule.
+ Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
+ Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student progress and needs.
Minimum Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
+ Experience as a Behavior Technician or in ABA is preferred
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years old
+ Must be comfortable assisting with toileting
CompensationLocal Behavior Technician
+ Pay Rate: $25/hour
+ Estimated Weekly Total: ~$300 (based on 12 hrs/week)
