Job Title: Behavior Technician / Paraprofessional
Location: Roselle, IL (NDSEC Cooperative – Multiple Member Districts)
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule: School hours (unpaid breaks)
Start Date: 2025–2026 School Year
Interview: In-person
Position Overview:
The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs. This role collaborates closely with school professionals and behavioral specialists to help students achieve learning and behavioral goals.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide classroom and one-on-one support as needed.
+ Assist in implementing behavioral interventions and educational strategies.
+ Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff.
Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
+ Illinois Paraprofessional License (Required)
+ Minimum 2+ years of prior school experience
+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Caseload: ALSP position in Itasca; additional placements may vary
+ Hours: School hours (unpaid breaks)
+ Start/End: 2025–2026 school year
+ Interview: In-person
