Overview Position Summary: The Beach Operations Supervisor plays a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of all beach-related services, amenities, and personnel. This position is responsible for delivering a world-class guest experience through exceptional service, a strong commitment to safety, and environmentally responsible practices. The Supervisor supports the Beach Operations Manager in supervising and coordinating the activities of beach attendants and tram cart drivers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all beach and recreation touchpoints. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee daily beach operations including setup, guest services, equipment usage, and cleanliness. · Supervise and coordinate the performance of beach attendants and tram cart drivers, ensuring timely transportation and top-tier service delivery. · Monitor staffing levels and adjust scheduling to meet fluctuating guest demands and seasonal needs. · Ensure all team members are adhering to safety standards, guest service protocols, and company policies. · Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of beach team members. · Respond promptly to guest concerns or service recovery situations to maintain high satisfaction scores. · Maintain and inspect beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, carts, etc.) to ensure functionality, cleanliness, and presentation. · Promote and enforce environmental and sustainability standards across beach operations (e.g., recycling, proper waste management). · Collaborate with other departments such as Front Office, Security, Engineering, and Recreation to coordinate logistics and guest requests. · Maintain accurate logs and reports related to beach usage, incidents, and maintenance needs. Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, recreation, or a related field preferred. · Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, resort, or recreation operations. · CPR/First Aid/AED preferred. · Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. · Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods. --- Skills & Requirements: · Strong leadership and team management skills. · Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills. · Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations. · Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. · Capable of working outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions. · Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with setting up beach equipment.
