Job DescriptionPLEASE NOTE:
This role is not open to relocation. Only candidates who have residency and right to work in the Isle of Man can be considered.This role is a 3-month Fixed Term ContractTo ensure that the International Wealth and Investment business units operate within all regulations through stringent monitoring and control processes thereby delivering a robust first line of defence. To manage and control risk exposure arising within Banking principally from Operational and Anti-Money Laundering risks in line with procedures and processes that exist to minimise the risk to the bank.
QualificationsMinimum Qualification:
Diploma in Risk ManagementPrefer First Degree in Corporate Governance / Risk ManagementExperience Required :
5 - 7 years experience in Business Control Unit OffshoreAn appropriate diploma in compliance, governance and risk related fields. A thorough understanding of Financial Services regulations and associated risks as well as experience in developing and implementing plans for the mitigation thereof.Key Outputs :
Act as the first point of escalation for more complex matters, raised by junior employees, to ensure that the issues are managed and resolved efficiently and effectivelyComplete the Risk and Control Self-Assessment for Corporate and Business Banking and International Wealth and Investments (IWI) processesDeliver timely advise to the team on compliance and regulatory issues, liaise with Compliance, Operational Risk and Senior management with regards to these issuesFacilitate a monthly meeting with Operational Risk and IPB and Business BCU representativesImplement effective risk assurance programs across front office segments (Corporate and Business Banking, and International Wealth and Investments)Additional InformationBehavioural Competencies:
