What You'll Do
We are seeking a strong candidate with experience and passion to join a BCG X People and Development Specialist position located in Boston
Key responsibilities include:
• Support BCG X teams by improving the career development and overall experience for all CT talent
• Facilitate the CDC (Career Development Committee) process to ensure consistent and fair performance evaluations, collaborating closely with the regional CD team
• Organize and manage CDC logistics, including onboarding new talent to the CDC process, administering CDC meetings, and ensuring timely preparation of all required materials such as tenure reviews, case reviews, and dossier preparation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on workdays, case information, staffing details, and case reviews
• Escalate potential employee relations concerns in collaboration with P&D leadership and local BCG HR teams
• Drive the talent review process by ensuring the accuracy and completion of tenure and case reviews while ensuring consistency in evaluations
• Provide feedback from CDC discussions to shape the Learning & Development (L&D) and broader talent strategy
• Work closely with the Regional P&D team to implement initiatives focused on culture,
engagement, and people development
• Serve as the regional Point of Contact (POC) for one or more functional pillars, such as Learning & Development (L&D), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Compensation, and Insights & Reporting, while contributing to people-related projects as needed.
• Help manage population registration and eligibility checks for BCG L&D programs,
including Consulting Foundations, Advanced Consulting, and Technical L&D programs
specific to BCG X
• Collaborate with Talent Managers, P&D teams, and Global L&D to ensure alignment and effective implementation of L&D initiatives
• Ensure accurate case information and timely reporting for case reviews, L&D programming, and other ad hoc reporting requests

What You'll Bring
YOU BRING
• 3+ years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably in a people
function
• A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
• 1 to 2 years of experience in people program development and execution is preferred
• Some experience in HR systems such as workday beneficial

YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a People and Development Specialist, you will work closely with NAMR P&D team
managers on the regional people agenda. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Talent Management (Staffing) team, Finance team, and Recruiting team to ensure smooth operations for BCG X

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
The base salary range for this role in Boston is $81,000 -$99,700.
This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
