What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically minded Senior Analyst to join the Product Finance team of BCG X. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping our understanding of the economics behind our product portfolio. You will own tracking, ROI analysis, and strategic insight development and help leadership make smarter, faster, and more impactful decisions.

 

You’ll operate at both strategic and tactical levels to gather, assess, and translate data into business-aligned insights, offering tangible impact to leadership and shaping the evolution of how we deploy and scale value through our product portfolio



Portfolio Commercials & Investments:

End-to-end responsibility of product financial management of our product investments including case-code set up, budget management, attribute mapping, and coordination with cross functional teams.Partner with product, commercial, and regional leaders to shape and evolve KPI metrics that drive accountability, inform decision-making, and measure overall portfolio success.Support ROI analysis and derive meaningful insights to inform investment strategy and prioritization.Provide strategic oversight and guidance on pricing models and pricing card inventory, partnering with commercial and regional teams to support business outcomes.Serve as a point of contact for leadership on matters related to strategic alliances, offering insights, scenario analysis, and ad hoc support to inform decision-making.

Financial Analysis, Reporting:

Collaborate with Business Intelligence & Analytics team to create innovative ways to report on data.Build and develop data queries to extract insights from existing data base, apply data skills to identify trends in product/metrics, and discover opportunities to improve product health.Participate in ad-hoc analysis to help drive strategic business decisions including right investments/acquisitions/ and new product updates.Create executive level presentations enabling decision-making. Develop and maintain complex financial models to deliver consistent, accurate, and insightful analyses of product performance.

Product Governance:

Design, document and implement finance data flows for end-to-end support of the product governance cycle.Continuously identify opportunities to digitize and automate repeatable portfolio processes.

Strong business partner to help increase product performance based on data driven decision.Leveraging modern digital tools and GenAI-enabled solutions (e.g., copilots, automated reporting assistants) to scale the accuracy and speed of insights.Strong problem solving and analytical skills. ​Strong written and verbal communication skills ​High level of self-motivation, resourcefulness.Taking initiative and find creative and effective ways to accomplish tasks.​Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the Finance function, project and system teams​. 

What You'll Bring

You Bring:

Bachelor or Graduate degree with 4+years of relevant experienceStrong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Power Automate is a plus.

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach. 

 

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below. 
• The base salary range for this role in Boston is $103,000.00 - $127,000.00

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.


In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
