What You'll Do
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join the BCG X Global People & Development (P&D) team as a Senior Specialist supporting X Delivery in Sao Paulo. This role partners closely with business and P&D stakeholders to deliver high-quality people processes, employee experience, and advisory support across the employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Own and manage end-to-end Career Development (CD) processes for the supported employee population, including planning, execution, and follow-through of CDC cyclesPartner with CD Advisors and senior stakeholders to ensure effective preparation and smooth facilitation of CDC discussionsEnsure quality and consistency in CDC process, including documentation, tracking decisions, and maintaining accurate records in WorkdayOversee feedback processes, including feedback initiation, quality checks, approvals, and timely closure in collaboration with Staffing, CDA and employeesIdentify patterns and themes from CD outcomes and feedback, escalating insights or risks to P&D leadership as appropriateEmployee Lifecycle & HR Operations:
Provide support and guidance across the employee lifecycle, with increasing focus on judgment, problemsolving, and stakeholder advisory:
Onboarding: Drive onboarding experience for X Delivery employees, ensuring consistency, engagement, and alignment with global standardsProbation & Performance Milestones: Partner with CDAs to ensure timely and meaningful feedback and decision-makingAbsence & Leave Management: Advise on complex leave and LOA cases, ensuring compliance with local policies and alignment with P&D leadershipEmployee Exits: Manage exits end-to-end, including conducting exit interviews, synthesizing insights, identifying trends, and escalating themes where relevantStakeholder Management & Employee Experience Build trusted relationships with business leaders, CD Advisors, and employees, acting as a key P&D point of contactEngage regularly with employees on the ground to understand sentiment, address concerns, and strengthen employee experienceProactively identify potential employee relations risks and escalate appropriately, partnering with P&D leadership and local HR teamsSupport culture-building initiatives and reinforce positive employee experience through thoughtful, consistent interactionsReporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement Own and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting (e.g., headcount, LOA, reduced capacity, attrition), ensuring data accuracy and actionable insightsAnalyze trends and data to support business and workforce decisionsConduct regular audits of key people data (e.g., CD, exits, transfers) and drive corrective actionsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and employee experience, contributing to continuous improvement initiativesYOU’RE GOOD AT

5–7 years of strong experience in a People/HR function, preferably within a professional services environmentA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related fieldExperience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) is an advantageProficiency in standard MS Office tools, including Excel and Outlook, as well as digital collaboration platformsWho You'll Work With
