What You'll Do

As a Global Activations Manager on the BCG X Marketing team, you will play a key role in shaping and executing BCG X’s thought leadership, campaign strategy, and external partnerships across priority tech and AI topics, including generative, agentic, and responsible AI. Your work will focus on translating complex ideas into compelling content and experiences that strengthen BCG X’s market presence and support commercial impact. 

This role involves leading high-visibility content and campaign initiatives, managing virtual events and activations, and owning partnerships with select academic organizations. You will work closely with firm leadership and cross-functional marketing teams to ensure a cohesive, end-to-end approach across content, campaigns, and channels. 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: 

Partner with firm and marketing leadership to help set priorities and direction for key tech and AI initiatives Collaborate closely with regional, product marketing, social, media, and alliance marketing teams to align content and activations Work cross-functionally across BCG’s practice areas, regions, and brand and digital teams to ensure a unified go-to-market approach 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Lead the development of flagship BCG X thought leadership, including global reports, surveys, articles, white papers, videos, and related assets across priority tech and AI topics Own the full content lifecycle, from ideation and development through execution and promotion, in close collaboration with partner marketing teams, editorial, web, social, media, PR, product, and alliance teams Design and execute integrated, omni-channel campaigns that amplify thought leadership and events, driving visibility and engagement across web, social, and email channels Partner with firm leadership to showcase BCG X’s technology and AI capabilities through virtual client masterclasses across regions, including event concepting, content strategy, audience targeting and outreach, and post-event follow-up Own and manage relationships with select academic partners, supporting joint content, events, and collaboration opportunities aligned to priority AI themes Track and assess the performance of content, campaigns, and events, using data and feedback to continuously refine strategy and execution Synthesize insights and results for senior stakeholders, presenting recommendations, progress updates, and post-activation readouts to inform future strategy 

YOU’RE GOOD AT: 

You excel at translating complex, technical topics into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with senior audiences.You balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and are comfortable owning initiatives end to end, from shaping the story and approach to driving delivery across teams.You are highly organized, proactive, and effective at managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-moving, global environment.You bring strong judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, and you are energized by working at the intersection of AI, content, and go-to-market strategy. 

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)  6-8+ years of relevant experience in integrated marketing, campaign management, or related fields (equivalent skills and diverse experiences will also be considered) Experience in tech or AI-centered topics (not mandatory, but is a plus) Proven expertise in designing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns Strong writing and storytelling skills for creating impactful messaging and thought leadership content Exceptional project management abilities, with the capability to juggle multiple complex projects with varying priorities Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams Experience working across global markets and adapting strategies for cultural nuances. Willingness to travel as required 

Who You'll Work With

You will report to the BCG X Global Marketing Director covering Content, Campaigns and Internal Communications. Additionally, you will work alongside regional, product, social, editorial, and alliance partner marketing teams to drive key marketing initiatives.
