PACE is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic BCBA - School Behavior Analyst to provide behavioral support and program development for K-12 School located at our Santa Clara campus. As a School BCBA, you will oversee and train staff on behavioral programs for students on the Autism Spectrum. You may also assist our on-site after school ABA program. The candidate must possess the following minimum requirements for the BCBA position: Education – Must possess a MA/MS degree in the field of Behavior Analysis or related field. Certifications – Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB. Experience – Should have at least 2 years experience working with the special needs population. Communication Skills The position requires communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to be playful, creative, and enthusiastic. Strong writing skills are required to document treatment sessions. The candidate must actively participate in meetings with superiors, peers, and other employees. Collaboration and team work are critical skills. Management and Organizational Skills – This position requires strong organizational skills with the ability to develop/implement written treatment directions and collect and interpret numeric data. Candidate must possess the skills to effectively train a team of employees. Technical Skills -- Proficiency in understanding behavior (ABA) literature for program development and implementation is required. Job Description / Essential Elements: PrintPACE welcomes you to join our innovative and exciting organization! PACE is a non-profit agency providing high-quality programs for individuals with autism and associated developmental disabilities. We’re looking for Clincial Supervisors to work in our children's early intervention program.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for creating behavior intervention plans, staff behavior training/review and updating consumer reports on a quarterly basis.
Essential Job Functions:
• Responsible for ensuring that all behavior components of a functional program plan are created and administered effectively for each student.
• Capable of providing developmentally enhanced services that are designed to support and train the clients, staff and parents.
• Review and develop functional and motivational behavior assessments, behavioral plans and interventions. Must be able to review and develop a system to collect behavioral data. Responsible for interpreting the behavioral data and modifying plans and training as necessary.
• Provide communication and training with staff, parents and professionals when technical expertise is requested to clarify the behavioral conditions.
• Must be able to work hands on with the students to train staff on efficient behavior intervention techniques through direct modeling.
Desired Skills:
• BCBA required (BCBA interns are welcome to discuss options)
• A minimum of two years developing behavior plans for developmentally disabled clients is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including speaking, writing, listening, motivating, inspiring, collaborating, delegating. Self-starter and team player.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and follow-up with multiple, simultaneous projects. Working knowledge of organizational systems, internal controls and standard of excellence.
