BBQ Chef 1/2 - Chinese Kitchen
**Description:** + Oversee the barbecue food preparation process and ensure food quality meets hotel standards. + Maintain cleanliness in the work area, ensuring proper food storage, handling methods, and cleanliness of utensils. + Assist the Executive Chinese Chef in designing barbecue styles and offerings. + Manage daily ordering quantities and production for the barbecue section to ensure sufficient food supply. + Assist in the preparation of barbecue dishes, including portion arrangements, material handling procedures, and cleaning preparation tools. + Follow company procedures and instructions to assist in producing the required barbecue items daily. + Adhere to the hotel's health and safety guidelines. + Perform any duties assigned by the Management Team deemed necessary. **Qualifications:** + Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety management systems (HACCP) + Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively + Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on culinary excellence + Able to work independently + Familiarity with kitchen operations + Able to work under pressure, in a dynamic and fast paced environment + Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in hotel industry with similar positions **Primary Location:** CN-Hong Kong S.A.R. **Organization:** Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Food and Beverage **Req ID:** HON006398 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
