You'll have…
Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical, Chemical Engineer, Mining, Materials science or engineering, or related fields. 2+ years of analyses experience in supply value chain, or Site STA/Quality 1+ years of LIB materials or related metals experience from raw material ore, metal refining and processes for battery raw materials. Ability to multi-task with cross-functional teams.Even better, you may have...
4+ years of hands-on experience desired. Extraction Metallurgical/Mineral Processing Engineering skills a plus. Experience in Manganese mining and refining (battery grade/ HPMSM) Strong analytical background with demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. What You'll Do…
Oversee and coordinate the development of projects with battery raw material suppliers to ensure the technical and quality progress and overall risk is aligned with the sourcing objectives. Engage in battery raw materials (Manganese, Lithium, Nickel and others) and Rare Earth Minerals selection and evaluation of mining and refining/processing sources. Develop battery grade HPMSM specifications and manage supplier qualification and scale up development. Support APQP, PPAP and site visits related to raw materials engineering, quality and industrialization. Review and assess evolving next generation materials and processing development. Build relationships among internal and external organizations for effective cross-functional operation. Review technical data with cross functional teams. Support recycling plans for battery raw materials
