Schedule: FT, M-F 830am-5pm
Pay Rate: $17/hr

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numeric controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment.
- Troubleshoot production floor equipment daily, including the calibration bays, non-conformance rework, etc.
- Plan and perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.
- Install, start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
- Advise operators and line leads of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
- Inform appropriate management and line leads of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
- Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed.
- Perform Facility Maintenance functions as needed.
- Assist and train leads, supervisors and operators.
- Perform other functions or duties as assigned that fall within the purview of a Process Technician.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Able to work well with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Willingness to listen and follow instructions well.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles, able to determine equipment malfunctions and apply the skills needed in restoring equipment to operation.
- High school diploma/GED required. But a higher education is appreciated.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including soldering irons, electrical test equipment and small hand tools.
- Able to drive a forklift.
