The Battery Engineer is responsible for design, development, and testing of both new and existing battery systems. Responsibilities: * Contribute to the development of advanced cell and battery architectures that meet stringent aerospace requirements. * Perform modeling and parameter analysis to optimize cell and battery designs. * Work closely with Mechanical Engineers to ensure proper cell packaging and integration. * Support the design of test regimes to characterize and validate performance at the cell and battery level. * Prepare technical reports to communicate test results and performance characteristics to internal and external customers. * Assist in sustaining engineering activities to enhance the performance and reliability of existing battery products. * Analyze returned battery units (RMAs), identify root causes, and contribute to corrective action plans. * Provide technical data to Sales & Marketing to help position our products effectively in the market.
