Batch Monitoring Analyst, Global Operations Command Center (GOCC)

_We’re looking for a_ **_Batch Monitoring Analyst_** _to join our Global Operations Command Center team at MBPS. In this role, you will play a foundational role in monitoring and supporting batch operations, pipelines, and other data systems, helping ensure the timely execution of critical jobs, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and maintaining the overall health and reliability of our data infrastructure._

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Monitor and support **batch jobs** and **data pipelines** across platforms such as **CA Workload Automation, Informatica, Azure EDL, and Apache Airflow** .
+ Provide **24/7 operational support** by triaging and responding to pipeline and batch failures, delays, and system alerts.
+ Manage service requests for role assignments and provisioning across Azure services, including **Azure Data Factory** , **Azure Databricks** , **Azure Key Vault** , **SQL Synapse** , and **Database Servers** .
+ Deploy standard updates for **Azure Pipelines** and conduct **OS patching** , application **health checks** , and **Server restarts** .
+ Oversee **SSL and SPN certificate renewals** to ensure secure operations.
+ Provide L1 support for AI platforms such as **OpenAI, GenAI, and Copilot** .
+ Create and manage **Microsoft support tickets** , coordinating effectively with Internal Teams and External Vendors to drive issue resolution.
+ Leverage **Azure Metrics** and **Azure Data Explorer** for impact assessment and root cause analysis.
+ Monitor **Infrastructure metrics** related to CPU, disk, memory usage, and host availability via **New Relic** and **Moogsoft** , and initiate proactive actions to ensure optimal system performance.
+ Maintain clear and timely Incident communication with stakeholders and next-level support teams.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 1–2 years of experience in IT operations, Data support, or Batch monitoring.
+ Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python, SQL, Linux/Unix, and Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
+ Background in job scheduling and ETL tools such as CA Workload Automation, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Informatica, or equivalent technologies like Control-M.
+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins)
+ Knowledge of **ITIL practices** and/or experience with Incident and Change Management processes.
+ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
+ Willingness to work in a **rotating shift schedule** , including day, night, weekends, and holidays
+ **_Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)_**
+ **_Amenable to work on a FULL ONSITE SET-UP_**
+ **_Amenable to work in any shift schedule assigned (day, mid, and night)_**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals), DP-900 (Azure Data Fundamentals)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong attention to detail and a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
