This role involves administering the AHA's Basic Life Support (BLS) curriculum, ensuring compliance with AHA standards, and fostering a supportive and effective learning environment. The trainer must also ensure that students receive proper documentation and certification. Supervisor: Director of Adult Education Physical Demands: Lift up to 25 lbs. Work Environment: Frequent interaction with staff, students, and the public; Walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and bending Starting Pay: $45 per hour Location: Westside Campus Schedule: Hours vary based on need Status: Part-time Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor Certification. • Successful completion of a satisfactory background check. • Exceptional communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to facilitate learning for diverse groups with varying skill levels. • Strong organizational and documentation skills for managing course logistics efficiently. Preferred Qualifications: • Professional experience in healthcare, emergency response, or related fields is highly desirable.
