European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. We are both a maintenance company and a cargo airline and are currently responsible for the aircraft maintenance of 32 Airbus A300-600, 5 Airbus A330, 32 Boeing B757, 26 Boeing B767 and 24 Boeing B777 at our locations in Leipzig, Frankfurt, Cologne and throughout Europe.

YOUR TASKS
The Base Maintenance Process & Data Engineer is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and digitizing maintenance processes within Base Maintenance. By leveraging data and developing efficient process solutions, this role significantly contributes to improving productivity, quality, and regulatory compliance
Process Analysis & Optimization
Identify improvement opportunities in existing maintenance processesDevelop and implement standardized, digitally supported workflowsSupport the implementation of Lean Maintenance principlesData Management & Reporting
Build and maintain data models for process monitoring and controlCreate dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision-makingEnsure data quality and integrity in maintenance systemsSystem Integration & Digitalization
Collaborate with IT and Engineering to integrate new tools and systems (e.g., AMOS, BI solutions)Support the rollout of digital workflows and mobile applicationsContribute to the further development of maintenance IT systemsInterface Management
Work closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Line MaintenanceSupport audits and regulatory requirements through data-driven documentationMaintenance Planning Support
Collaborate with Planning teams to improve work package creation, task sequencing, and resource allocationAnalyze historical data to support predictive planning and capacity forecastingCreation of work packages and provision to the relevant MROEnsure proper and cost controlled Base Maintenance Work PackagesCreation of a preload for spare parts required for base maintenance events and ensure forwarding and processing to logistics departmentControlling of Work progressContribute to the development of planning KPIs and performance dashboardsYOUR PROFILE
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience in aircraft maintenance, ideally in Base MaintenanceKnowledge of process management, Lean methodologies, and data analysisProficiency in maintenance software (e.g., AMOS) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Strong analytical thinking, structured working style, and high initiativeExcellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
