Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BAS Associate Project Manager to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Building Automation Systems (BAS). You will collaborate closely with experienced professionals and receive hands-on training to develop the skills needed to manage BAS projects and contribute to the success of our controls department.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is ready to learn, grow, and contribute to impactful projects in the BAS space. You will be supported every step of the way by a team committed to your development.
Key Responsibilities (with mentorship and guidance):
Support the BAS project team in achieving departmental and organizational goals, including financial targets. Assist in organizing and participating in project meetings with internal teams and clients. Collaborate with Controls Design Engineers to understand project designs and approved submittals. Learn to interpret project financials and performance metrics. Help prepare SOVs and assist with monthly billing processes. Identify and communicate project issues to senior team members for timely resolution. Assist in estimating and preparing change orders under supervision. Begin building relationships with ASI clients and partners through professional communication and support. Work with the Controls Project Coordinator to maintain organized project documentation (drawings, specs, schedules, RFIs, change orders, etc.). Research client needs and goals related to energy efficiency, system serviceability, and operational performance. Coordinate with internal divisions and external stakeholders to support project scheduling and resource allocation. Participate in sales initiatives, including client meetings and site visits, as a learning opportunity. Engage in industry-related organizations and pursue professional development opportunities.Qualifications
Interest in Building Automation Systems and a desire to grow into a project management role. Exposure to our familiarity with BAS platforms such as Automated Logic Controls, Tridium Niagara, or Distech Controls is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. A willingness to learn about HVAC systems, electrical controls, boilers, chillers, and building automation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Initiative-taker with a growth mindset and eagerness to take on new challenges.Benefits

Competitive Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year based on experience.
