Job Description Summary

The Bartender is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives covering the social venues of the hotel. The bartender sets-up, services, and breaks-down the bar area ensuring a high level of quality, consistency and service.

Work Environment

Must be able work in a fast-paced environment.Majority of work takes place indoors.Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures - i.e. kitchens, freezers.

Physical Demands

Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force. frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Expected Hours of Work

Must be flexible to work variable days of the week to include weekends and holidays.Must be flexible to work variable shifts (days, nights, overnights).Ten to twelve hour shifts sometimes required.

Education and Experience

Experience as a Bartender required, preferably in a high-volume bar.Experience with computerized cash registers preferred.High school diploma or General Education Degree (GE
