Deliver memorable guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages and food with warmth, precision, and hospitality. The bartender/cashier has a dual role: they are responsible for mixology excellence, guest engagement, and accurate cashiering, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the bar and lounge area.
What will I be doing?
As a key team member of the Food & Beverage department, the Bartender / Cashier ensures the bar is fully prepped and stocked, crafts signature and classic cocktails, prepares gourmet coffee beverages, and performs accurate POS transactions. This role requires high attention to detail, passion for hospitality, and a proactive service mindset.
Maintains proper and adequate bar set-up daily. This includes requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and produce based on the daily functions sheet projections.
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Greets guests courteously and friendly, promotes and documents orders for drinks, mixes garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practices prudent portion control. Checks guests for proper identification. Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
Prepares and sells coffee drinks, such as espresso, café latte, and cappuccino, by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques.
Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest and personnel guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountabilities for all beverages.
Receives cash from guests, makes necessary changes, verifies the validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed to balance all money.
Locks up and stores all beverages, food, and other equipment items, deposits cash drops, and secures the bank.
Adheres to Cash Handling Procedures
· Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
· Handles an assigned house bank, cash, checks, and/or credit cards following the Company's policies.
