Hilton Adelaide is centrally located, overlooking Victoria Square. The hotel has 377 rooms ranging from guest rooms to the executive floor and suites. Hilton Adelaide offers unrivalled conference and events facilities comprising of 19 meeting rooms. It is the only 5-star hotel in Adelaide able to host 500 delegates to meet, eat and sleep, all under one roof.

What You'll be doing

A Bartender will be responsible for engaging our guests during their visit, receiving/serving orders and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely mannerCreate and serve a range of beverages including classic, specialty and contemporary cocktails, mixers, beer, wine and soft drinks etcTake food orders and assist the floor team with deliveries as requiredUnderstand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activitiesKeep your service area clean, tidy, and well-preparedEfficiently manage the proper settlement of all customer accountsAnswer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner

What We're Looking For

Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (South Australia)Valid Food Handling & Hygiene CertificateCapability to work autonomously and in a teamAbility to take ownership of your work area, ensuring it remains clean, well-stocked and ready to delivery exceptional servicePrevious experience in hospitality or a customer service-focused roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEnthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for hospitalityPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or other service items
