Overview As a Bartender at Cambria Downtown Austin, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming, energetic atmosphere for our guests. You’ll craft high-quality beverages, engage with guests to provide memorable experiences, and ensure smooth operations at the bar. This position requires a balance of mixology expertise, hospitality skills, and attention to detail to uphold Cambria’s standards of service and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with recipes and brand standards. Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, making recommendations, and creating a positive, engaging bar experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking, sanitizing, and adhering to health and safety standards. Accurately handle guest tabs, payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure compliance with TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) laws and hotel policies. Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to support service flow and enhance overall guest satisfaction. Promote specials, events, and loyalty programs to maximize guest engagement and revenue. Qualifications Previous bartending or mixology experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume bar environment preferred. Current TABC certification required (or ability to obtain before start date). Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage service standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to maintain composure under pressure. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $10.25/Hr. - $10.25/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
