Job DescriptionPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customersMix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails according to recipesTake food and drink orders from customers and enter them into the POS systemAssess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendationsCheck customers' identification to ensure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcoholRestock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesComply with all food and beverage regulationsMaintain a clean and organized bar areaProcess payments and operate cash registersMonitor customers' alcohol consumption and take appropriate action to limit intake if necessaryAssist in creating drink menus and seasonal specialsMaintain knowledge of current beverage trends and mixology techniquesResolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfactionCollaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient serviceAdhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

QualificationsMust have knowledge in alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesWorked at least 2 years in hotel industryHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in hospitality or related field preferredProven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishmentExcellent knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipesStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectivelyBasic math skills for cash handling and inventory managementKnowledge of POS systems and cash registersExcellent verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills a plusFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredTeam player with a positive attitude and professional appearance
