About the Role

As a Bartender at Sofia Bar, you will act as an ambassador of the Hyatt brand, ensuring professional, engaging, and high‑quality service aligned with the highest brand standards.

This is a full‑time operational position (40 hours per week) offered on a temporary contract, with a rotating schedule that includes afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts according to the operational needs of the bar. You will work closely with the Service team, Supervisors, and Management to ensure smooth operations and a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Bartender is responsible for the effective operation of the bar and the delivery of excellent beverage service, including but not limited to:

Welcoming guests and providing professional and friendly service at the barPreparing and serving classic and signature cocktails, beverages, and coffees in line with quality, presentation, and recipe standardsOffering personalized recommendations, demonstrating strong knowledge of the menu and current promotionsAccurately processing beverage orders through the P.O.S. systemMaintaining the bar, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and properly stockedCarrying out mise en place, replenishment duties, and basic stock controlEnsuring compliance with hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and hotel policiesSupporting opening, closing, and side work duties of the barWorking collaboratively with waitstaff and supervisors to ensure smooth serviceAdapting to changes in service pace or volume with a positive and solution‑oriented attitude
