Duties and responsibilities related to the Barista role
Provide personalised and attentive service, anticipating guest needs and preferences to create memorable coffee experiencesTake responsibility for the setup, smooth operation, and closing of the café or coffee stationMaintain strong knowledge of the coffee and beverage menu, including origin, flavour profiles, brewing methods, and milk texturing techniques, to confidently advise guestsPrepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with brand standardsFollow departmental standard operating procedures to uphold service consistency, cleanliness, and qualityPromote and upsell premium coffee blends, seasonal beverages, and food pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise revenueEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulationsAbout You
Previous experience as a barista in a premium hospitality environment is preferred. You have a passion for coffee, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
