Join our vibrant team as a Barista - Bartender in the heart of Baghdad, Iraq! We're looking for a passionate and versatile individual to craft exceptional coffee drinks and cocktails while providing outstanding customer service in our bustling establishment.

Works in close cooperation with all other staff assigned to the outlet, as well as kitchen, stewarding, and cashiers Works as per the outlet's duty schedule and shifts Conducts weekly training sessions i.e. pouring practice, coffee mixing, and up-selling Observes and corrects pouring practice of all coffee staff to avoid excess wastage Ensures that orders are only issued against written or printed receipts Ensures own appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming of all staff is impeccable Works towards the timely set up of the bar areas and the completion of all mise en place works, in line with the opening hours Welcomes arriving guests and ensures prompt service Extends prompt services to all guests Ensures the well-being of all guests by maintaining a close professional, friendly, yet discrete relationship Maintains cleanliness and best possible maintenance of the counter and all related areas Handles guest complaints directly or refers them to the assistant manager or the outlet manager Attends all meetings or briefings to maintain open communication within the team Knows the menu and price structure by heart and can recommend when a guest asks for assistance Flexible to work in other areas when required by the immediate supervisor Aware of basic cashier work and handles payments promptly and efficiently Familiar with the company's internal policies and safety procedures Qualifications Proven experience as a barista and/or bartender (preferred) Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and cocktail mixing Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Strong verbal communication skills Additional information
