**Description:** The Barista is responsible for honoring each and every guest by providing excellent customer service and a high quality product. The Barista will work closely with the hotel's Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing the guest’s experience along with having a high attention to detail and a strong team approach. **Qualifications:** + Prepare and serve beverages (coffee, latte, espresso, teas) using an industrial espresso machine + Handle cash transactions in accordance with the property’s cash handling policy + Have a deep knowledge about the hotel and local area + Anticipate customer needs when assisting all guests with their orders to ensure a positive experience + Follow all company policies and procedures in regards to cash handling, food and beverage preparation, safety and daily operation of the restaurant + Prepare all orders according to company standards while meeting or exceeding speed of service and quality expectations + Maintain a clean and organized guest environment as well as a clean and organized workspace + Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner + Ensure knowledge of menu + Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate POS system + All other tasks and duties as assigned + 1-2 years of barista knowledge + Previous hospitality experience preferred + Experience in a high volume restaurant is a must **Primary Location:** US-TN-Nashville **Organization:** Dream Nashville **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Job Level:** Part-time **Job:** Food and Beverage **Req ID:** NAS002873 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
