Duties and responsibilities related to the Barista role

·Prepare the bar for service by completing all opening duties, ensuring readiness for a smooth and efficient operation.

·Maintain strong knowledge of all beverages, including ingredients and preparation methods, to confidently advise guests.

·Deliver attentive and personalised service, supporting guests throughout their visit and addressing any concerns promptly.

·Manage stock effectively by requisitioning, checking, and storing items correctly while minimising waste.

·Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the bar, including all equipment and service areas.

·Maximise revenue through confident upselling and product recommendations.

·Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and offerings to enhance the guest experience.

·Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless service and consistently high standards.

About you

We are seeking a proactive and service-driven individual with previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. A confident communicator with the ability to upsell and work efficiently under pressure, you will also take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and teamwork.
