Principal Accountabilities

Conduct general fiberglass barge cover repairsConduct barge hull repairs (Weld, cut, fit)Conduct general barge inspectionsGeneral facility housekeeping and maintenance dutiesCommunicate with facility management and other facility employees on a regular basisUnderstanding and adhering to all safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respiratorAbility to work in elevated areasAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts, with advance notice



Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent1-3 years working within the marine industry directly with barges and fleetsExperience with barge fiberglass cover repair, welding, cutting, or fittingGeneral knowledge in industrial maintenance
