The Bar Supervisor is responsible for the overall daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional beverage service and guest experiences in line with Alila and Hyatt brand standards. This role leads and supervises the bar team on shift, maintaining high standards of service quality, product consistency, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and hygiene requirements. The Bar Supervisor is hands-on in staff coaching, scheduling, inventory management, cost control, and service delivery while fostering a refined, welcoming, and guest‑centric bar environment. Working closely with the Food Beverage leadership team, the role contributes to revenue performance, team engagement, and the successful execution of Alila’s lifestyle‑driven beverage offering.

Diploma or relevant experience in Hospitality or Food Beverage2–3 years’ experience in bar or beverage operations, preferably in hotels or upscale venuesPrior supervisory or senior bartender experience preferredStrong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and service standardsFamiliar with Malaysia food safety and hygiene requirementsBasic inventory and cost control knowledgeGood leadership, communication, and guest service skillsAble to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidaysProficient in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage
