Located just half a mile south of The Pentagon, this 627-room hotel features five unique dining outlets and is conveniently situated only three blocks from the Pentagon City Metro station, with easy access to I-395.
The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, high-volume restaurants, and has open availability.
Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work PM shifts as needed, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $21.60 per hour (plus tips) and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?
As a Bar Porter, you would be responsible for preparing and servicing permanent and portable bars throughout the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Retrieve orders from storeroom, visually check stock and reconcile with written requisitions to ensure order accuracy and re-check stock upon deliveryPrepare the bar by cutting, slicing and peeling perishable garnishes and fruits, mixing and pouring juices and storing back-up supplies in prescribed containersCheck with and assist the bartender to stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produceTransport taps and replace and perform routine maintenance on beer kegsMaintain cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators and storage areas in accordance with federal, state, local and company codesTransport food items to and from the kitchenRetrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing areaWhat are we looking for?
