The Bar porter is responsible to maintain a high standard of customer service while ensuring the assigned bar is stocked and clean.

Responsibilities Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies as well as the New Jersey Health Standards.Ensures bar is set properly.Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standards.Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shiftPrepares all mixes and garnishesAcknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the barPerforms other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino, high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred.Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishesMust possess or have the ability to obtain a valid New Jersey Casino Service Registration.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysMust be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift & work inside assigned bar areas in the venueMust be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
