Banquets Manager

We are looking for a Banquets Manager that notices the little things that make a difference! As our new Banquets Manager, you will be leading the charge to ensure that quality service is presented and standards are met while delivering a guest experience that is unique.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Co-ordinate the day to day operations of the Banquet floor to obtain maximum profit and maximum guest satisfaction
● Supervise VIP functions as required
● Ensure the details on the event order are delivered and oversee all service and set ups
● Greet function organizers on arrival and ensure that their requests are dealt with
● Preparing work schedules and completing documentation in a timely manner.
● Train, mentor and develop team members
● Multitasking to oversee and ensure rooms, quality of food and final set up are inspected regularly.
What We need from you:
● Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Hospitality and Event Management, or related field
● 4+ years’ related experience, including management experience
● Strong organisational and time management skills
● Leadership and team coordination experience
● Excellent communications and client-facing skills
● Must obtain certifications or permits as required by local governmental agencies.
