Examples of Banquet Server responsibilities

Make all guests feel welcome Run food from the kitchen to the banquet hall Assist with Ballroom set up before the event begins Set up buffets and coffee stations with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs Refill water glasses Clean up venue after event ends other closing tasks

Examples of Banquet Server skills

High school diploma/GED preferred Minimum 16 years of age Previous wait-staff experience a plus Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment Overall excellent customer service Punctual Energetic, motivated personality Must be able to stand/walk for several hours at a time Must have reliable transportation
