Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring part-time Banquet Servers to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. As a Banquet Server you will provide outstanding customer service while serving food and beverage products in a banquet setting, ensuring that The Lodge at Geneva guests' needs are being met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner.The ideal Banquet Server candidate will be friendly, positive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

What will you do?Sets up tables for function in accordance with banquet event orderAccurately transports food and beverages to guests in a timely mannerPerforms necessary tasks to service guests including: taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing of dirty dishesServes alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaintsReplenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable)Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow team membersBreaks down event according to company procedures
More about youMust be 18 or olderMinimum of 3 months' previous experience in food and beverage service preferredExcellent guest service skillsAbility to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctlyNo high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirementsAbility to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for entire length of shiftAbility to lift up to 35 poundsMobility to maneuver between tables
