Job descriptionThe Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing all banquet and catering operations, ensuring that events are executed smoothly and in line with brand standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills to deliver exceptional experiences for guests while maintaining profitability and efficiency.
Plan, organize, and oversee banquet events, including weddings, conferences, corporate functions, and special events. Ensure smooth coordination with the culinary, service, and event planning teams to deliver high-quality guest experiences. Supervise the setup and breakdown of banquet functions, ensuring compliance with event orders. Monitor service quality and resolve issues promptly during events. Lead, train, and motivate the banquet team to maintain service excellence. Develop staff schedules, manage shifts, and ensure adequate coverage for events. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members. Ensure all operations comply with hygiene, health, and safety regulations. Uphold brand standards in service, presentation, and guest interaction. Handle guest feedback and implement improvements where needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or in a senior supervisory role in hospitality. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
