Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 BOE
Position Summary The Banquet Captain is responsible for the execution and supervision of banquet and special event service. This role acts as the on-site leader during events, ensuring service standards, timelines, and guest expectations are met or exceeded. The Banquet Captain serves as the primary liaison between the service staff, culinary team, and event management. Key Responsibilities: Event Execution & Leadership Lead and supervise banquet service staff during events, including servers, bartenders, and support staff Conduct pre-event briefings to review event details, service flow, menu items, and assignments Ensure all banquet setups are completed according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and brand standards Maintain event timelines and coordinate service pacing with the culinary team Staff Oversight & Training Assign service stations and responsibilities Monitor staff performance and provide coaching as needed Assist with training new banquet service staff Enforce safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policiesThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
